The Governor of Lagos state has revealed what the new buses that would replace Danfo buses in Lagos state looks like. Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday, insisted that plans are afoot to remove yellow buses popularly known as “Danfo” from Lagos roads for a more efficient, well-structured and world class mass transportation system that would facilitate ease of movement within the city. This Twitter user, Deriano Agada, has claimed that his brother who works at a London hospital, supposedly the one where the president is being administered, said the President is in a coma, as he had an unsuccessful surgery. Kanye West has scrubbed his Twitter account of all things Trump, and it's because he's super unhappy with the president's performance over his first 2 weeks in office. Kanye had tweeted about Trump in a positive light after the election. In December, the day he met with Trump in NYC, he wrote, "I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change." Kanye also wrote about issues on which he felt he could influence Trump, writing, "These issues include bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago." Kanye's decision to remove the tweets was all his. The "Muslim ban" and other actions were the catalyst for his decision.
Instead, President Donald Trump is finding that business leaders have been an irritant instead of an ally of his nascent presidency. Tech firms have slammed his executive order calling for a travel ban for certain refugees and residents of Muslim-majority nations, with 127 such firms signing onto an amicus brief to stop the order in court. Others are critical of his talk against trade, including promises to review President Barack Obama’s thawing of relations with Cuba. (more…)
